Domestic Dots Photographs, 2017

Domestic Dots addresses themes of domestic space, femininity and motherhood. I both participate in traditional domestic roles and re-imagine them to create new roles. I began placing the ceramic forms in these domestic spaces to represent growth and the integration of these forms in the spaces. The dots exist in place of the family moving up the stairs, in the threshold of a doorway, at the dining table or in the tub. Their repetition and smooth forms reference expansion.

Domestic Dots was a solo exhibit at A - B Projects in 2017.
